"The Garden Tomb"

 This idea evolved as I worked through it, and I ended up scrapping the first one I did (even though it turned out quite beautiful) and decided to paint it from a new perspective - and created this one. It’s interesting how as I worked through this series- every painting seemed to reflect and evolve kind of like the events in that place did. Definitely not by coincidence if you ask me.

I hope this painting transports you to this holiest of places and fills you with Jesus’ love. “It was unthinkable, Impossible, unfathomable, unprecedented, a single act that changed history... He lived, and He died. But unlike all who preceded Him, He rose from the dead, He lived again! And because He lives, we all can live again. Because of Him - death has no sting, the grave no victory, we can start over. Again, and again, and again. Guilt becomes peace, regret becomes release, despair becomes hope. Because of Him, we have second chances, clean slates, new beginnings, and there is no such thing as the end.”
