"He Carried Our Burdens" - Vertical Fine Art Print.

from $22.00

A piece no words will ever do justice. i’ve had this image in my head for well over 4.5 years now and it feels so good to get it out onto paper. I love the contrast of light in this piece, the rough textural marks and what they each represent. A sacrifice I can never repay that was given to each of us so we literally never have to walk alone as He did. He can lift our burdens and carry the weight - and for that I am so grateful.

The lyrics to a new song by Lauren Daigle continue to linger in my head each time I look at this piece:

I don't know who I'd be if I didn't know You
I'd probably fall off the edge
I don't know where I'd go if You ever let go
So keep me held in Your hands

I've started breathing, the weight is lifted here
With you it's easy, my head is finally clear
There's nothin' missing when You are by my side.
