Painting a place that’s never been seen, and no longer exists, is hard. Especially when it plays such a significant role in our history and Gods history. I spent weeks mulling this idea over, with lots of anxiety about getting it right... bringing the right spirit and feeling into the painting... it took lots of planning, thinking, pondering, researching, praying and one visit to the temple... and then I finally felt ready. (Somewhat). When I sat down to paint, I felt sooo nervous. But I said a little prayer, turned on some inspirational tunes, and started mixing. And it all just came together... like magic. I love this little painting and I know I definitely had some help. I wanted to fill it to the brim with beauty, joy, and bright colors... with warm light to signify our fathers light and love for us. Everything needed to be perfect, like His plan. I hope this piece helps you feel that.
